Execs named to board of Federal Reserve branch

TAMPA — Tampa Bay area executives Troy Taylor, chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Beverages Florida LLC, and William West, president and CEO of The Bank of Tampa, have been appointed to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Jacksonville Branch.

Their terms began on Jan. 1 and run through Dec. 31, 2020.

According to a press release, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta branch directors provide economic information from the branch territory to the district bank's president and head office directors, who use the information in discussing monetary policy options and making discount rate recommendations.

Taylor is also the chairman of Spinel Investment Company LLC and previously held senior-level positions at BBVA Compass and at Accenture. He began his career at J.P. Morgan in 1993.

Taylor sits on several other boards of directors, including American Beverage Association, Coca-Cola Bottlers' Association, Tampa Bay Partnership and Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.

Prior to becoming president and CEO, West served as executive vice president of the Bank of Tampa from 1993 to 2008. He previously held senior-level positions at Barnett Bank of Tampa, Wachovia and Exchange National Bank of Tampa.

West is a member of the boards of directors of the Tampa Bay Banking Co., The Bank of Tampa, TCM Bank, ICBA Bancard Services, Straz Center for the Performing Arts, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Foundation, St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation and the University of South Florida's MUMA College of Business School Advisory Board.
