TAMPA — Kansas City-based commercial janitorial services firm SG360 recently acquired fellow commercial janitorial services firm Revolent Solutions Group, which has a large presence in Florida, in addition to Virginia locations.

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Bryson Raver, former president at Revolent, was named executive vice president of strategic development with SG360, according to a statement.

Tampa-based Revolent was founded in 2009. It has since bought or merged with at least a dozen commercial janitorial services businesses, according to its website. Locations vary from Sarasota to Boca Raton to Richmond, Va. Revolent provides janitorial services, construction cleaning, secure facility cleaning, high-rise window cleaning, painting, waterproofing, caulking and high-rise building maintenance, among other tasks.

Its large footprint and services in Florida and Virginia markets attracted SG360. “As we looked to expand to the Southeast, the opportunity with Revolent presented a perfect fit,” SG360 President and CEO David Harvey says in the release. “We quickly recognized how their strong customer base, tenured employees and similar company values would positively benefit everyone throughout our organization.”

SG360 was mostly in markets in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee before the deal for Revolent, according to the statement. The firm has about 1,000 employees.

“This really was an advancement for our employees and simultaneously enhanced our technology platform, from which our clients are already benefiting, says Revolent's Raver. “And by combining our two entities, we have a better opportunity to not only grow organically but to continue to deploy our acquisition strategy to current and new markets across the Midwest and Southeast.”
