Beer chain woos banker, hotel executive

TAMPA — Tampa-based World of Beer announced two additions to its corporate leadership team — CFO Kevin MacCormack and Vice President of Marketing James Buell.

MacCormack worked as a managing director of investment banking for Raymond James & Associates Inc. for over 16 years, according to a press release.

Before joining World of Beer, Buell was a marketing executive at Hard Rock International for 13 years.

“Kevin and James have exceptional track records of success in their respective roles," says CEO and President of World of Beer Franchising Paul Avery in a statement. "We look forward to leveraging their extensive experience and skills, as we continue to experience aggressive growth in the WOB business, domestically and abroad.”

World of Beer has more than 65 locations in 20 states and three countries. It was founded in 2007 in Tampa.
