Buyer plans senior housing on $2.3M, 14-acre site

SARASOTA — Summerplace at Sarasota, a 14.02-acre parcel in Sarasota, was recently sold for $2.37 million.

According to a press release, the seller is a financial institution. The seller was represented by commercial real estate investment services firm Marcus & Millichap. The buyer is an LLC that plans to do an addition to a large senior housing complex.

The property is at 5710 Draw Lane. It's half a mile west of Interstate 75 and less than a mile south of Clark Road.
