NAPLES — The Naples Airport Authority named Diane Terrill deputy executive director, a promotion from her previous role at the airport.

Terrill was most recently senior director of strategy and communication for the organization, where she oversaw the Noise Compatibility program, among other responsibilities. Since joining the Naples Airport Authority in 2014, Terrill has served in leadership positions for numerous industry associations, including the Florida Airports Council's Noise Abatement & Community Affairs Committee, according to a statement. She brings more than 27 years of aviation management experience to the position.

“After undergoing a national recruiting process which attracted applicants from coast to coast, we were grateful to find the best candidate close to home,” Naples Airport Authority Executive Director Chris Rozansky says in a statement. “Diane has the right combination of experience, concern for the community and passion for the vision of our organization that made her selection clear.”
Naples Airport is home to flight schools, air charter operators, car rental agencies and corporate aviation and non-aviation businesses, as well as fire/rescue services, mosquito control, the Collier County Sheriff's Aviation Unit and other community services. During the 2016-17 fiscal year, the airport accommodated 95,018 takeoffs and landings.
