Builder plans new community, waterfront homes

PALMETTO — Developer and builder WCI Communities will build on 176 home sites in the Sanctuary Cove community in Palmetto.

The 211-acre community will have nine floorplans, ranging from 1,962 square feet to 2,725 square feet. Homes will be priced from the $300s to the $700s.

According to a press release, the homes will have "coastal-themed exteriors" and 66 will be on the Manatee River. The community's marina will have 210 boat slips and six boat lifts.
