TAMPA — Atlanta-based homebuilder PulteGroup promoted Jeremy Young to construction manager of its west Florida division.

Young first joined PulteGroup in 2014 as senior customer care manager, according to a press release. He was promoted to senior field manager last year.

As construction manager, Young will oversee the build quality experience for homeowners in Pulte and Centex communities south of Interstate 4 in the Tampa market, the release states. He’s also been tasked with training and coaching responsibilities, and will play a role in maintaining leadership standards, evaluating staff members’ performance and creating opportunities for growth.

“Jeremy Young has been a tremendous asset to our division for more than four years,” states Sean Strickler, president of Pulte’s west Florida division, in the release. “As we plan to open 11 communities in 2019, we need a strong team, with even stronger leadership to help deliver the exceptional build experience our buyers are looking for.”

Prior to joining PulteGroup, the release states, Young worked for NVR Homes for 12 years, focusing on warranty and construction in Buffalo, N.Y., and Pittsburgh.
