TAMPA — The Westin Tampa Waterside, a luxury hotel on Harbour Island in downtown Tampa, has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation.

According to a press release issued by General Manager Shawn Nayyar, all 309 guest rooms have been fully refurbished in a neutral palette with blue accents, with new furniture and bathrooms refinished in stone with backlit mirrors.

Communal areas have also been improved, the release states. The second-floor club lounge now features sweeping water views, peacock-colored chairs and rustic driftwood art pieces. The lobby, meanwhile, has been reimagined with a “living wall” lined with indigenous plants.

In addition, the hotel’s more than 18,000 square feet of meeting space has been upgraded with new carpeting, tile and wall coverings, Nayyar states in the release.
