Growing ad agency hires more senior staff

Paradise Advertising welcomes a new media director and account manager.

ST. PETERSBURG — Paradise Advertising & Marketing continues to grow since its acquisition earlier this year by Tony and Barbara Karasek. The St. Petersburg-based agency, which specializes in tourism and destination marketing, has hired Tricia Pressley as media director and Danielle Ackerman as an account manager.

According to a press release, Pressley is a seasoned advertising professional who brings more than 28 years worth of experience in media buying and planning to Paradise. She will lead the agency’s in-house media department and oversee all media strategy, research, planning, placement and analytics for clients.

Ackerman, the release states, is a gifted destination marketer who has led sales and marketing initiatives for Experience Kissimmee and Discover Crystal River, the convention and visitors bureau of Citrus County.
