TAMPA — Princeton, N.J.-based Solvere Senior Living opened its latest community this week in Brandon.

The community, Tessera of Brandon, is a $28 million, 107,000-square-foot assisted living and memory care facility offering 89 one- and two-bedroom assisted living apartments and 49 memory-care suites. According to a press release, Solvere has made 80 hires to staff the facility. The entire property has Wi-Fi and mobile medical technology.

The property also features floor-to-ceiling windows, vaulted ceiling lobby, landscaped courtyards and walking paths, gazebo, fire pit and a dog park. Onsite services and amenities include an art studio, bistro/bar, beauty and barber salon, fitness center, library and restaurants.

“Tessera is the Latin word for an individual tile and when joined with others create a beautiful mosaic of a community rich in color, warmth and energy,” states Kristin Kutac Ward, president and CEO of Solvere Senior Living, in the release. “We’ve created an exceptional environment of empowerment for both assisted living and memory care inside and out. A lot goes into aging successfully and providing an atmosphere that supports each resident’s unique goals and a deep sense of purpose is a key component.”

Tessera of Brandon was developed by St. Petersburg-based Pridgen Development LLC, based on architectural design by St. Petersburg-based Bessolo Design Group Inc. Tampa-based Lindell Investments Inc. is the equity investor. Financing — $21 million over five years — for the project was provided by Hancock Bank.
