TAMPA — Greenway Health LLC, a privately owned Tampa-based IT services firm with clients in the health care sector, is embarking on a $1.8 million expansion plan that will create 104 jobs by the end of the year at its offices in Tampa’s Westshore business district.

According to a press release, the positions will be high-wage jobs in areas such as legal, cybersecurity, marketing and software development and training. The jobs will pay an average annual wage of $57,163, the release states.

Greenway Health’s expansion was made possible by partnerships with Enterprise Florida, the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation, Hillsborough County, the City of Tampa and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.

According to the release, a city in Georgia also made a pitch to Greenway for the expansion project. But Tampa won out.

“Tampa is gaining greater national recognition for its excellent supply of information technology industry talent each year, and Greenway Health’s decision to expand here is yet another vote of confidence in this city’s workforce,” Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn states in the release. “We look forward to supporting Greenway Health as it plants deeper roots in Tampa.”
