TAMPA — Capital City Consulting expanded in Florida with the opening of a Tampa office that will be led by its newest hire, Justin Day, and partner Dan Newman.

The expansion to Tampa represents Capital City Consulting’s first satellite office. According to a press release, the firm plans to continue to grow its team of government consultants in other Florida markets.

“With Capital City Consulting’s strong growth over the last few years, a local office in Tampa is a natural progression,” states Capital City founding partner Nick Iarossi.

The release states Day left the Tampa office of the Advocacy Group, another statewide lobbying firm, to join Capital City as its managing director. Day, who has 15 years of experience in government and politics, characterizes the split as amicable and says the two firms will continue to partner on local and state work.

“Justin and I have partnered on campaigns and projects for more than a decade,” states Newman, who joined Capital City Consulting as a partner in November 2017.  “It’s a great thrill to now open the Tampa office of Capital City Consulting together. The dynamism of the region makes it the perfect place for our growing firm to be.”
