SARASOTA — Baltimore-based RMF Engineering announced it opened a new office in Sarasota at Lakewood Ranch.
In a press release, President and CEO Duane Pinnix says the office is part of the firm's ongoing expansion in the Southern states.
“We’ve had our eye on Florida for some time, having seen rapid growth in the state over the years — particularly in healthcare and higher ed, which are two of our primary industries of focus,” says Pinnix in a statement. “This new office will allow us to better serve our existing Florida-based clients and further grow our presence throughout the state and the Southeast region.”
RMF also has offices in Atlanta, Salisbury, Md., Charlotte, N.C., Raleigh, N.C., Charleston, S.C., Charlottesville, Va., and Williamsburg, Va.
The Sarasota office will initially focus on engineering and commissioning services but will eventually expand into a full-service office.
RMF was founded in 1983. It has more than 280 employees and provides planning, design, engineering, commissioning and facility assessment services around the world.
