Medical company hires CEO

SARASOTA — Dr. Kevin Campbell is the new CEO of Sarasota-based cardiac remote monitoring software company PaceMate.

According to a press release, Campbell is a cardiologist and was previously the CEO of K-Roc Healthcare Consulting and adviser to several medical-tech startups. He also served on advisory boards for medical device companies, and he currently serves on the board of mobile electrocardiogram maker Alive Cor.

“Drawing on the strengths of our unique product offering, team members, advisory board, and the knowledge and experience that Dr. Kevin Campbell brings to the brand, PaceMate is poised to transform the remote monitoring software industry,” says PaceMate founder and President Jason Hale in a statement.

PaceMate was founded in 2015. The company delivers automated, vendor-neutral software that filters data into clinically actionable information and provides alert triage, automated coding and claim prep.
