Manufacturer taps former mining exec for VP role

TAMPA — Randy White joined Masonite International Corp. as senior vice president of global operations and supply chain, effective Sept. 25.

White comes to Masonite from Joy Global Inc., a maker of mining equipment, where he held senior positions including vice president of operations, supply chain, quality and operational excellence. According to a press release, he served in marketing, product management and operational roles with Magnum Magnetics Inc., Cooper Crouse-Hinds and The Wiremold Co.

“Randy is an experienced operations and supply chain leader with a 25-plus year track record of implementing lean operating systems and driving growth and profitability through operational excellence,” says Masonite President and CEO Fred Lynch in a statement. “We believe his skill sets are exactly what we need to not only meet, but to also exceed our customers' demanding supply chain requirements.”

Founded in 1925, Tampa-based Masonite is a leading global designer and manufacturer of interior and exterior doors for the residential new construction; the residential repair, renovation and remodeling; and the non-residential building construction markets.
