LandQwest Commercial Principal and Managing Director Adam Palmer has been named president of the Florida chapter of the CCIM Institute beginning in January.

The Certified Commercial Investment Member group, which bills itself as the most prestigious commercial real estate professional organization, is composed of 50 chapters nationwide.

In Florida, the group oversees eight geographic districts and has a membership of 876.

The CCIM designation is coveted among commercial real estate professionals because it requires vigorous classroom education along with industry experience.

Palmer, a 14-year commercial real estate veteran, becomes the third LandQwest agent to lead the statewide CCIM group, following similar one-year stints in 1996 and 2011 by others within the Fort Myers-based firm.
