LAKEWOOD RANCH — Southwest Florida homebuilder Neal Communities closed third quarter sales with 901 sales to date in 2017.
The number represents a 5% increase from last year at the same time, according to a press release.
In September, the Lakewood Ranch-based builder sold 55 homes. It attributed a
“noticeable sales decrease” during the month in part to Hurricane Irma.
“Our team was preparing for the storm for six days in advance and recovering for three days afterward,” says Neal Communities CEO Pat Neal in a statement. “I am extremely grateful for an unbelievable group of individuals who were all out in the field preparing our communities before it passed through.
In July, Neal had 85 home sales, and the company had 121 sales in August.
Neal Communities has built over 12,000 homes in Southwest Florida, according to a press release.
