Accounting firm announces name change

TAMPA — Tampa-based accounting firm Prida, Guida & Company P.A. changed its name to Prida, Guida & Perez.

The change reflects the addition of Frank Perez Jr. to the firm, which was founded in 1957. Perez joins Prida, Guida & Perez P.A. as a partner and will advise clients on tax planning and preparation.

According to a press release, the firm believes Perez's knowledge will expand its ability to serve more clients.

Perez says two important factors led him to join the firm.

“One, they hold the same core values I do when it comes to how we serve clients,” he says in a statement. “Two, it was important to me that I expand my ability to serve clients through a trusted team of associates. I found both at Prida, Guida & Co.”
