VENICE — Neal Land Ventures, a full-service land acquisition, entitlement and development firm, recently bought 290 acres in Venice for $12.5 million.
Pamlico Point Management, LLC, an affiliate of companies related to Neal Land Ventures and Lakewood Ranch-based Neal Communities, is the buyer listed on the property, according to a statement.
The site is north of Border Road and south of Laurel Road. Neal Land Ventures' Woods at Venice community is to the east of the new site, according to the statement. Woods of Venice has been approved for 263 single-family homes, with a plan that focuses on environmental conservation, preserving 50% of its land in open space.
“We acquire and plan properties with the commitment to responsible building and development, economic growth of the community and ecological accountability,” says John Neal, president of Neal Land Ventures, in the statement.
Neal Land Ventures has more than 5,500 blanks or lots available for residential and mixed-use development in Southwest Florida.
