Builder sells last home in community

BRADENTON — M/I Homes of Sarasota LLC sold the last home in the Bradenton community of Brookside Estates.

According to a press release, 63 single-family residences were sold in the community since February 2016.

The builder will now focus on sales at Twin Rivers in Parrish, where it plans to open a new model in November.

“After M/I Homes' undeniable success in Brookside Estates, bringing us one step closer to enhancing the rich culture that is Manatee and Sarasota counties, we look ahead to busy but expectedly prosperous months at Twin Rivers,” says General Sales Manager John Sackett in a statement.

Melvin and Irving Schottenstein founded M/I Homes in 1976. A year ago, the company opened a homebuilding division for Sarasota and Manatee counties.
