Two new nonstop destinations start at airport

FORT MYERS — Nonstop service between Fort Myers' Southwest Florida International Airport and Islip, N.Y., and Colorado Springs, Colo., will start Thursday.

The Frontier Airlines flights will connect the airport with Islip/Long Island MacArthur Airport and Colorado Springs Airport.

In July, the airline announced six new destinations from Southwest Florida International Airport, including Islip and Colorado Springs. The other destinations are Buffalo, N.Y., Kansas City, Mo., Nashville and Providence.
