Spring 2018 will bring 11 new routes from discount carrier Spirit Airlines, highlighted by daily, year-round service to Los Angeles and Las Vegas originating at Tampa International Airport.

Orlando International Airport will also get a new daily, year-round route to Las Vegas. Both Florida airports will see the new service begin on April 12, 2018.

According to a press release, Spirit is adding the routes to help travelers more easily and affordably reach some of the country's top vacation destinations.

Spirit also says it will begin serving Columbus, Ohio, and Richmond, Va., in early 2018. These two new cities will bring Spirit's growing network to 62 total destinations.

“We are excited to celebrate our growth in these key markets and offer even more ultra-low fares to some of our guests' favorite destinations,” states Mark Kopczak, Spirit Airlines' vice president of network planning, in the release. “Whether it's connecting Tampa to the west coast, bringing new routes to Seattle/Tacoma, or adding another international destination from Baltimore/Washington, we know these new, nonstop flights will bring more friends together and allow more families to go on vacation.”
