Architecture firm hires director

SARASOTA — Sarasota-based Hall Architects hired Frederick Koenig as a director of operations and senior project manager.

Koenig will provide senior leadership and oversee the firm's workflow, architectural standards and quality control. According to a press release, he has over 21 years of professional experience.

Before joining Hall, Koenig was a senior project manager specializing in educational design with an architectural firm in New York. He was also past president of the AIA Central New York chapter.

He has worked on educational institutions, affordable housing, religious buildings, private custom residences and municipal and commercial facilities.

Koenig is experienced in all phases of the building design and construction process, including existing building survey, schematic design, design development, construction detailing, consultant coordination, contact administration, specifications and quality control review, according to a statement.
