Firm boosts rocket-like growth with new hire

TAMPA — ReliaQuest, a Tampa-based IT security solutions company, named Chris Walsh chief revenue officer.

According to a press release, Walsh brings to the role experience in developing high-performing sales teams.

As chief revenue officer, Walsh will oversee ReliaQuest's entire sales organization, including the inside, enterprise and sales engineering teams as well as the sales operations and sales enablement functions. He will also work with fellow members of the executive leadership team to help set the company's direction for the future. “At ReliaQuest, we know security is a team sport,” says ReliaQuest CEO Brian Murphy in a statement. “Our company has been able to grow and adapt as the security world changes because of what we learn working alongside our talented customers.”

ReliaQuest is one the fastest-growing firms in the Tampa region, and one of the fastest-growing IT firms in the country. The firm, according to Deloitte's Technology Fast 500, has grown revenues 624% since 2013. It's hired at least 150 people this year,
