Banker to chair nonprofit board

NAPLES — Lee Golden, senior vice president and director of retail operations for Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, has been named chairman of the board of trustees for Edison & Ford Winter Estates.

Golden, who has been an Edison & Ford Winter Estates board member and previously served as treasurer, will serve a one-year term as chair, according to a statement. Edison & Ford Winter Estates, in Fort Myers, is an official project of the “Save America's Treasures” grant program; a Florida Historic Landmark; and a National Register Historic Place. Edison & Ford Winter Estates has also been awarded the National Stewardship Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the statement adds.

Golden has been working at area banks for more than 15 years. Founded in 2003, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, with $383 million in assets, has two locations on Sanibel and five additional locations in Fort Myers.
