ST. PETERSBURG — In late October, Maine-based Sea Dog Brewing Co. unveiled the first phase of its new 10,000-square-foot waterfront restaurant and brewpub in Treasure Island.

According to a press release, the restaurant features a gulf-inspired menu, full-liquor bar and dozens of craft beers on tap. Guests can enjoy indoor or outdoor seating, NFL games, live entertainment, theme nights, waterfront views, private dining, gaming and, upon the commencement of phase two, tiki bar, fire pits, grab 'n go sandwiches and boat slips.

According to the release, executive chef Mark Boyd, a Tampa native, worked with national brands such as Bar Louie and Shula's Steakhouse before venturing into destination hotels and resorts for 11 years. Prior to joining Sea Dog, he spent three years at the Woodmark Hotel in the greater Seattle area.

Boyd plans to present a Gulf-inspired menu featuring made-from-scratch dishes and the freshest catches of the day. The menu will emphasize smoked favorites and delicious seafood offerings.

The brewpub will pour a selection of beverages such as Shipyard's Captain Eli's soda, Ice Pik Vodka and Sea Dog and Shipyard original brews.
