Tech firm lands on top list with 624% revenue surge

TAMPA — Tampa-based IT security solutions firm ReliaQuest was ranked No. 171 on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America based on revenue growth.

According to a press release, ReliaQuest has grown revenues 624% since 2013. The list doesn't break out dollar-figures for revenues, and ReliaQuest officials, in past interviews with the Business Observer, have declined to disclose specific figures.

“It's amazing to see what groups of individuals can accomplish together when they're driven by the same goals and values,” ReliaQuest CEO Brian Murphy says in a statement.

Technology Fast 500 winners are selected based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth from 2013 to 2016. To be eligible, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that's sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company's operating revenue, a press release says.

ReliaQuest was founded in 2007. It provides detection and response; security engineering; security analytics and threat management solutions from security operations centers in Tampa and Las Vegas.
