LAKEWOOD RANCH — Southwest Florida homebuilder Neal Communities moved up two spots to No. 43 on Builder magazine's 2017 Builder 100: The Top 100 ranking.
Neal Communities was ranked No. 45 last year on the annual list of homebuilders nationwide with the greatest number of 2016 closings. According to the ranking, in 2016, the company had 1,129 closings and $430 million in gross revenue.
“To continue to rise year after year on this prestigious list of mostly public homebuilders is a significant achievement for us,” says Neal Communities founder and CEO Pat Neal in a statement. “As we grow, we continue to stay focused on the core values that Neal Communities was built upon, including honesty, integrity, customer service and quality construction.”
Neal Communities President Mike Storey credits the company's growth on its focus on building inventory homes, a strategic land plan and its expansion in Lee and Collier counties.
To date, Neal Communities has built over 12,000 homes with 70 communities throughout southwest Florida, according to a press release.
