IT firm targets 200 hires

PINELLAS COUNTY — Clearwater-based IT services provider Vology plans to add an additional 200 positions in Pinellas County and expand its offices over the next two to four years.

The company currently employs 310 people in Pinellas County. It hired 80 new staff members in 2016.

The expansion will encompass 60,000 square feet in the Bay Vista Office Park in Largo. It will allow the company to accommodate its growing number of employees as well as a Network Operations Center.

“We're very pleased that Vology selected Pinellas County as the best spot for the future growth of one of Tampa Bay's most recognizable and fastest growing technology companies,” says Pinellas County Economic Development Director Mike Meidel in a statement.

Vology monitors, manages and maintains more than 100,000 devices at more than 20,000 customer locations, according to a press release. It has more than 2,000 field engineers across the U.S.
