Nonprofit names new board members

SARASOTA — Goodwill Manasota has announced its 2017-18 board of directors.

Peter Crowley is the chairman, and immediate past chairman Rob Morris is chair emeritus. Drayton Saunders is the secretary/treasurer. Directors are Steve Boone, Debbie Douglas, Rae Dowling, Rod Hollingsworth, Sandy Kirkpatrick, Lisl Liang, Alan Maio, Alex Floethe, Brad West and Richard Wharton. Stu Gregory is a lifetime member.

Crowley has served on the board since 2004 and served as chair in 2010. He is the president of Re/Max Alliance Group, based in Sarasota.

In 2016, Goodwill Manasota served 28,207 people, placed 755 people in jobs and assisted 240 veterans reintegrating into the civilian workforce, according to a press release.
