CAPE CORAL — Cape Coral resident and entrepreneur Stephanee Wallace has purchased Funky Fish Houses, a cottage community in Cape Coral's Cape Harbor waterfront neighborhood, for $1.3 million.

Wallace bought the property, 13 parcels on Shell Cove Drive, from CRE Cape Harbour Land LLC, according to property records.

Realmark Development President Will Stout conceived the original Funky Fish Houses concept, according to a statement. Lots and custom homes will range in price between $650,000-$900,000, while single lots will range between $215,000-$280,000. When completed, Funky Fish Houses will feature 18 single-family homes with a Key West-style beach cottage ambiance, the release adds.

“I fell in love with the whole concept. Fish Houses is a one-of-a-kind property and opportunity,” says new Wallace in the release. “There's nothing else like it in Southwest Florida where you can actually own the water rights in front of your property. It's going to be a fun location, and it's just a dream for boat people.”
