SARASOTA — Sarasota-based law firm Williams Parker appointed Peter Currin to lead the firm's real estate practice.

Currin is certified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in real estate. He succeeds Patrick Ryskamp who has led the real estate practice since 2010, according to a press release from the firm, one of the largest in the Sarasota-Manatee region.

“Peter is a superb real estate attorney, and he has shown tremendous leadership as the firm's associate development partner,” says Williams Parker President Ric Gregoria in a statement. “We are confident that he will do an excellent job continuing the fine leadership demonstrated by Patrick during his years as head of our real estate group.”

Williams Parker's real estate attorneys represent Real Estate Investment Trusts, developers, financial institutions, private equity investors, single-purpose business entities and individuals.
