Prominent mortgage broker joins new bank

SARASOTA — The Penny Hill Group mortgage team has joined Fidelity Bank's retail mortgage division in Sarasota.

The group includes Senior Mortgage Specialist Penny Hill, Area Manager Scott Kolbe and Mortgage Specialist Paul Eidel. Hill and Kolbe have been partners in the mortgage industry for 21 years. They previously worked as a team at EverBank, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Chase Home Mortgage, where they were the No. 1 volume producer nationwide, according to a statement.

Atlanta-based Fidelity Bank is increasing their banking and mortgage footprint in Florida. According to a press release, the “Penny Hill Group will play a major role in Fidelity's growth plan.”
