FORT MYERS — Shelton, Conn.-based transportation brokerage company OneWayLimo now offers transportation throughout Florida to and from airports, for special events and for general ground transportation.

OneWayLimo is an online booking system integrating with limo companies to fill vehicles when they're empty. According to a press release, OneWayLimo provides extra revenue for limo companies and low prices for customers.

Passengers can ride in insured limousines to all airports in Florida, including Tampa International Airport, Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers, Miami International Airport and Orlando International Airport.

“Our goal is to work with the entire black car market and offer travelers an alternative to Uber and Lyft,” says OneWayLimo President and Founder Joe Salemme in a statement. “Customers simply log onto OneWayLimo.com for access to licensed, insured, clean and professionally operated vehicles at significantly reduced rates. OWL is doing for Limo Companies what Priceline and Expedia did for the airlines and hotels.”
