Accounting firms merge into one company

FORT MYERS — A pair of accounting firms in the area, Wiltshire, Whitley, Richardson & English P.A. and McGee-CPA PL, have merged together.

The merger is effective as of June 1, according to a statement. The combined companies will operate under the name Wiltshire, Whitley, Richardson & English and will continue to provide a wide-range of professional and personal accounting services, the release adds.

D. Todd McGee, principal of McGee-CPA, and his staff will now operate from the offices of Wiltshire, Whitley, Richardson & English in Fort Myers. McGee has provided accounting services to individuals and businesses in Southwest Florida for more than 40 years, the release states. Services include business consulting; estate and retirement planning; business entity selection and succession planning; business valuation; financial planning; audits and reviews; bookkeeping; forensic accounting; tax planning; payroll; and more.
