A Tampa company formed earlier this year has acquired the 10-story Coronet Apartments in downtown St. Petersburg for $5.97 million.
300 Central LLC, a group led by Steven Gianfilippo and Charles Palmer, acquired the property from LV Spirits LLC, a company formed two years ago by Lyle Vincent, according to state records.
The complex, at 300 Central Ave., was built in 1935 as office and retail space.
The most recent sale of the 40-unit complex was brokered by Patrick Calhoon and Chris Calhoon, both of Smith & Associates Real Estate, a Tampa real estate brokerage firm specializing in high-end properties.
“300 Central Avenue is in the heart of the burgeoning downtown St. Petersburg market,” Calhoon says. “Located within walking distance of award-winning restaurants, renowned museums, galleries, entertainment venues and sought-after shopping, 300 Central Avenue offers unparalleled potential.”
