Food delivery service expands to more markets

SARASOTA — Home produce delivery service White Picket Produce is expanding its delivery market to North Port and Englewood.

White Picket Produce delivers organic and naturally grown local produce to customers weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. The company purchases six to eight different vegetables and four to five fruits each week for its produce boxes based on seasonality, availability and price, according to a press release. Contents of each box are based on customer preferences. All items are certified 100% organic.

“I enjoy working with local farmers here in Sarasota and Manatee counties,” says White Picket Produce creator Sharyn Vross in a statement. “These hard-working families and the precious land they manage are important to the growth and sustainability of our economy and by supporting their farms, we're able to eat better.”
