TAMPA — A homegrown Tampa technology success story, Tribridge, has a new owner.

Virginia-based DXC Technology acquired Tribridge, which focuses on cloud computing software and services and is one of the largest independent integrators of Microsoft Dynamics 365 nationwide, in a deal announced July 5. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed, and Tribridge will be known as Tribridge, a DXC Technology Company.

Tony DiBenedetto co-founded Tribridge in 1998 and has led the company to more than $140 million in annual sales and 750 employees across North American and Europe. DiBenedetto has also become a mentor to many other tech entrepreneurs in the Tampa area.

“Our single focus for nearly 20 years has been to help organizations solve their toughest business challenges through the latest technologies and a commitment to exceptional customer service,” DiBenedetto says in a statement. “We are excited to become part of a global company with a shared vision, and look forward to continuing our growth trajectory with DXC Technology. This is a unique opportunity for the Tribridge team to drive innovation for our clients.”

DXC Technology had $7.6 billion in revenue in 2016. The acquisition, say company officials in a statement, “solidifies DXC's position as a leading global systems integrator for Microsoft Dynamics.”

“Enterprises are constantly demanding end-to-end integration with hybrid-cloud platforms to rapidly develop, deploy, execute and protect next-generation applications,” says Troy Richardson, DXC senior vice president and general manager of Enterprise & Cloud Applications, who will lead the combined business. “The combined capabilities of DXC Eclipse and Tribridge offer clients a complete end-to-end solution, one that significantly differentiates DXC as a leader in the marketplace.”
