It's not often that commercial brokers leave the company they helped launch.
But that's precisely what Stephen Cunningham, the former qualifying broker for LandQwest Commercial Real Estate Services, in Fort Myers, has done.
Cunningham, who was part of LandQwest's inception a dozen years ago, has recently opened a Fort Myers office for commercial real estate firm SVN.
Cunningham, 63, will be SVN Florida's managing director and focus on investment sales. He says he decided to strike out to “operate from a national platform, which SVN provides.”
SVN operates 190 branches nationwide and internationally, and differentiates itself through corporate collaboration and sharing information among brokers.
Cunningham was an agent when he helped found LandQwest with John Mounce and Rokki Rogan in April 2005. He became a partner at the company, now with a trio of offices in Fort Myers, Tampa and Orlando, a few years later.
