Roofing business promotes three leaders

SARASOTA — Sutter Roofing, one of the largest commercial roofing companies in the state, promoted three officials from within the company to new management positions.

The promotions include:

• Mike Klaiss was named a superintendent in the Sarasota office, promoted from foreman. Klaiss has been with the company for more than six years, according to a statement;
• Ben Cadle is moving from the production department to estimating department in the Sarasota office. He started with the company as a roofer and has more than six years of experience in the production department;
• Sergio Galvin has been promoted from production foreman to assistant superintendent in the Sarasota office. He has been with the firm for 14 years, and will help manage crews and projects in Southwest Florida.

Sarasota-based Sutter Roofing was founded in 1979, and the company now has offices in Sarasota, Tampa, Fort Myers, Orlando and West Palm Beach. The firm had $35 million in revenue in 2015 and has 350 employees.
