CAPE CORAL — A new assisted living and memory care center at Gulf Coast Village, Palmview, is now accepting reservations for its planned opening next month.

Palmview is part of three-phase expansion at Gulf Coast Village, a Continuing Care Retirement Community. The project has been financed with $79 million in bonds.

Palmview, at 1433 Santa Barbara Blvd, Cape Coral, has 128 residences — 80 assisted living and 48 memory support units, according to a statement. The 130,980-square-foot center has one-bedroom or two-bedroom residences, featuring kitchens with modern appliances, walk-in closets, some with washer/dryers, cooktops and dishwashers and all units include smart TVs with complimentary Wi-Fi. Amenities include a media room for entertaining with drop screens for videos, movies or presentations, six on-site dining venues and several recreational areas where residents can participate in a variety of events and programs.

“The supportive and well-trained staff, the large and impressive residences, new and expanded amenities and programs as well as enhanced access to health care differentiates Palmview from other communities,” Gulf Coast Village Executive Director Kevin Ahmadi says in the release. “The entire community has so much to offer, from Starbucks to movie theaters to incredible dining venues and even a community garden, there is so much for residents to enjoy.”
