SARASOTA — Rite Technology, a software and copier equipment, service and maintenance firm that recently completed a major rebranding effort, has acquired two companies in the region.

One business is Fort Myers-based American Office Equipment, while the other is Sarasota-based Dos Imaging, according to a statement. American Office was founded in 1988 and Dos Imaging was founded in 1997. Both companies handled office document systems for clients throughout Southwest Florida, the release adds. Sarasota entrepreneur Dale Ott had run the companies.

Rite Technology, founded in 1989 as Laser Rite Document Solutions, has added 11 new employees from the acquisition, according to the release. “As a service based organization that caters to the copy/print needs of our clients, this acquisition is ideal to further strengthen the reach and positive impact that we have upon our mutual clients office equipment needs,” Rite President and CEO David Polimeni says in the release. “The goal of Rite Technology is to have the highest customer satisfaction rating as an office technology company servicing clients throughout the West Coast of Florida from Tampa to Naples.”

Adds Ott: “The fact that Rite has demonstrated the ability to grow market share in an increasingly competitive marketplace signified their business health and confirms their ability to care for the needs of our employees and clients."
