Michigan-based Ibis Group has awarded leasing for a half-dozen office and flex buildings in Sarasota County to Ian Black Real Estate.

The Sarasota commercial real estate brokerage firm will be in charge of leasing the Cattleridge Business Center; Sarasota Commerce Center, Live Oak Commerce Center; Live Oak Corporate Center I and II; and the Live Oak Office Center.

Each of the properties, which total 260,000 square feet, had been part of a portfolio controlled by Osprey S.A. Ltd. and affiliates before the companies began disposing of them three years ago amid partnership squabbles.

In addition to Ibis, Osprey partnerships have disposed of nearly a dozen properties to The Dilweg Cos., Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, Feldman Equities and Tower Realty Partners.

The Ibis properties in Sarasota County contain about 39,000 square feet of available space.

Ian Black's Steve Horn and Melissa Harris, together with firm founder Ian Black, will work to lease the Ibis portfolio, the company says.
