Behavioral health company names COO

BRADENTON — Nonprofit behavioral health organization Centerstone named Shawny Robey COO.

According to a press release, Robey will oversee outpatient and inpatient services and lead business development and marketing. Centerstone's Florida facilities are headquartered in Bradenton.

Robey joined Centerstone in 2013. She previously served as vice president for business development. In that job, she oversaw business development, media relations and several operational functions.

She began her career with a health care provider in Manatee County. Robey was also a pharmaceutical representative in the neuroscience division with Eli Lilly and Co.

Centerstone provides mental health and substance abuse treatment, education and support in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. It also offers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities life skill development, employment and housing services.
