TAMPA — Dave & Buster's is set to open its 103rd location in late October when it sets up shop in Brandon.

The Dallas, Texas-based chain, which operates large-venue, high-volume restaurant-entertainment complexes across North America, says in a press release that it intends to hire more than 230 people to staff its sixth foray into the Florida market.

The new Tampa location will be in The Estuary. According to the release, positions are available in both front- and back-of-house capacities, including servers, bartenders, hosts, line cooks and game techs.

The company calls The Estuary a flourishing residential area and says the presence of a Dave & Buster's will help cement the Brandon area as the region's shopping and entertainment hub. Dave & Buster's will bring more than 40,000 square feet of entertainment to the area and will offer all-new, chef-crafted food like the Hawg-A-Saurus Loaded Cheese Fries and BBBacon Burger; innovative cocktails like Glow Kones and Luxe Patron LITs; and hundreds of the latest arcade games.

The new location will also feature a D&B Sports Bar, making it the ideal sports-viewing destination for residents to cheer on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Rowdies with massive HD TVs and “better than the stadium” seating, according to the release.

In Florida, Dave & Buster's can also be found in Hollywood, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando and Panama City Beach.
