TAMPA - JoEllen Henderson, a 35-year veteran of the financial services industry, is Tampa-based First Citrus Bank's new chief credit officer.
Henderson comes to First Citrus Bank from American Momentum Bank, where she also served as chief credit officer. In her new role, she'll be responsible for First Citrus Bank's credit delivery platform and portfolio risk management systems, according to a press release.
“Our business plan calls for First Citrus to be a $500 million company in 2019, thus JoEllen's billion-dollar bank experiences managing credit risk is timely,” says First Citrus Bank president and CEO Jack Barrett in a statement.
Henderson says in the release she's excited to support First Citrus Bank's campaign for growth “by effectively managing credit risk - while supporting our business bankers in meeting client needs."
Established in 1999, First Citrus Bank is a $336 million commercial bank specializing in retail and commercial banking services, with five locations in the Tampa Bay area. Its parent bank holding company is First Citrus Bancorporation Inc., headquartered in Tampa.
