Health care firm promotes former media executive

SARASOTA — Sandi Wall was named chief marketing officer at Sarasota-based orthopedic practice Sarasota Orthopedic Associates.

Wall joined the group in 2013 as director of marketing. As chief marketing officer, Wall will oversee strategic planning and implementation of the orthopedic brand, according to a press release.

She previously held advertising and marketing management positions with Knight Ridder Broadcasting, now The McClatchy Co., the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and Comcast Spotlight, which is the advertising division of Comcast Corp.

Before Wall moved to Sarasota, she owned a media buying service for corporate accounts and nonprofits in New England.

Sarasota Orthopedic Associates has three locations — Sarasota, Venice and Lakewood Ranch.
