TAMPA — Bloomin' Brands named Beth Scott president of Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar.

Scott was also named a senior vice president at Bloomin' Brands, parent entity of the Fleming's brand, according to a statement. Scott replaces Skip Fox, who announced his retirement last month. Fox joined the brand in 2001 and had been the president since 2004, the statement adds.

Scott joins Bloomin' Brands from Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, where she led the food and beverage experience planning and integration team. In that role she was responsible for all park and resort dining experiences in Orlando, Anaheim, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Paris, and Tokyo. Prior to Disney, Scott served as vice president of global products, food and beverage and wellness for Hilton Worldwide. She's also held leadership positions at Planet Hollywood, House of Blues and Loews Hotels.

“Beth's extensive hospitality experience makes her uniquely qualified for this role," Bloomin' Brands CEO Liz Smith says in the release. “Her expertise in each of the components that creates the ultimate dining visit will enhance the already high expectations that our Fleming's guests have come to expect from this brand.”
