LAKEWOOD RANCH — Homebuilder Neal Communities sold 85 homes in July.

In June, the homebuilder had 116 sales. According to a press release, June was the company's best sales month of 2017.

The July sales bring the company's total 2017 sales to 725, according to a press release.

The master-planned community of Grand Palm in Venice had 12 sales; Boca Royale Golf & Country Club in Englewood had eight sales; and Waterset in Apollo Beach had nine sales. Neal's luxury custom homes division, Neal Signature Homes, had eight sales.

“We continue to experience the disappearance of a true season here in Southwest Florida with summer months being almost as busy as the rest of the year,” says Neal Communities President Michael Storey in a statement.

Neal unveiled eight new models at Grand Palm in July. Boca Royale also has five new model homes.

Neal Communities has built over 12,000 homes in Southwest Florida, according to a press release.
