FORT MYERS — A 14-villa expansion project is scheduled to begin in August at Cypress Cove at HealthPark Florida in Fort Myers.

Cypress Cove is a community with independent living, home health, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care assisted living and rehabilitative care.

The two-bedroom and three-bedroom villas will increase the community's villa neighborhood to 44. The homes are about 1,800 square feet.

Fort Myers' Chris-Tel Construction is the contractor for the multimillion dollar project. Construction is expected to be complete by early summer 2018.

In addition to the community's villas, Cypress Cove has 333 independent living residences.

The nonprofit Cypress Cove community opened in 1999. According to a press release, the 48-acre campus is home to more than 600 residents.
